George Morrison Retires

Morrison Kattman Menze, Inc. Architecture, Planning, and Interiors, is proud to announce the retirement of our founding partner, George D. Morrison, AIA, LEED AP, on December 1, 2009.
George’s career as a registered architect spans 37 years since his graduation from the College of Architecture and Planning at Ball State University in 1972. George founded this company in 1981 and since that time the practice has grown to a professional staff of 18, including registered architects, planners, and interior designers, with projects throughout the Midwest.
George’s career has included many projects with an emphasis on community enhancements such as historic preservation; parks and recreation; libraries and education; and urban design projects. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, U.S. Green Building Council, Historic Landmarks of Indiana, and the Indiana Library Federation.
Remaining partners of the practice are Dodd M. Kattman, AIA, LEED AP; Ronald S. Menze, AIA, ACHA; Michael A. McKay, AIA, LEED AP; and Jerome T. Nix, AIA. The business will continue at the current location in downtown Fort Wayne.
