MKM architecture + design (MKM) invites the business community to Fishbowl—a time to network and have meaningful conversation with community leader Susan Baier, Executive Director, Allen County Public Library. Register now for this event, scheduled for Thursday, April 17, from 3:15 p.m. to 5 p.m., EST, at MKM headquarters in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Throughout the year, MKM shuts down its Fort Wayne location to host a public event, affectionately called the Fishbowl. “This is a time when we invite a thought-provoking individual to share about their career, work, community, or big ideas they are working through,” said Zachary Benedict, AIA, LEED AP, President, MKM. “The intent is to provide an intimate venue to talk, share, and learn about innovations in community health and well-being.” Past Fishbowl discussions have ranged from artificial intelligence to social justice.

ABOUT SUSAN BAIER
Susan Baier began as Executive Director of the Allen County Public Library (ACPL) in March 2021. Her nearly 30-year public library career took her to Ohio, Illinois, California, and Kentucky before moving to Indiana. Prior to joining ACPL, she was the Library Director of McCracken County Public Library in Paducah, Kentucky.
She currently serves as Vice President of the Board for Visit Fort Wayne. She also serves on the boards of The Literacy Alliance, Friends of the Lincoln Collection, Rotary Club of Fort Wayne, and the Friends of the Allen County Public Library.
