MKM architecture + design partnered with BHI Senior Living to design a new active adult community and clubhouse located in Fort Wayne called Prairie Landing.

The campus includes single family and connected homes linked by a generous trail system encouraging residents to get to know one another and the surrounding natural landscape.

In the heart of the campus is located a clubhouse that overlooks a community pond.  The clubhouse includes multi-purpose spaces and ample technology to support large group events as well as comfortable spaces for small groups looking for a quiet conversation in front of the stone fireplace.  Lined by floor to ceiling windows, the great room overlooks a covered porch, outdoor fire pit, and the neighborhood pond.  A catering kitchen supports a variety of events taking place in the building.

Prairie Landing residents enjoy the fitness center, promoting the overall health and well-being of community members. A warm-water pool extends the wellness programming providing for hydro-fitness classes and recreational activities. Lockers and private showers offer a private club experience.
