MKM Director of Operations Honored with 2022 Influential Women Award

MKM architecture + design Director of Operations, Megan Zwick, has been named a recipient of a 2022 Influential Women Award of Northeast Indiana. Presented by KPC Media Group, Inc., Influential Women of Northeast Indiana was created in celebration of the women in our communities who have overcome barriers, defied social norms, and blazed trails for future generations. The third annual virtual event, held on October 27th from 11:00am – 1:00pm, provided honorees the opportunity to share their personal experiences, achievements, and obstacles along the way in panel Q&A sessions, moderated by Lisa Long of KPC Media Group.

Zwick was nominated for her leadership, which has helped to shape the success of the firm so that our team may continue to enhance the health and well-being of our communities through design. In her role as Director of Operations, she manages all business systems for MKM, overseeing many avenues of the business, including investment, personnel, and operational strategies. Her efforts support the firm’s finances, contract management, information technology, and day-to-day business activities. Megan has been instrumental in working through the challenges of COVID-19 in the workplace and offering support to staff while providing effective solutions to obstacles faced. Her attention to detail has helped MKM streamline business management and client relations.

Zwick is a Fort Wayne native and active community member, volunteering for numerous organizations. She serves on committees for the Emerging Leaders Alliance, Living Fort Wayne’s Summer Concert Series, Eco Fest Fort Wayne, and the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership Early Learning Committee. She is one of the founding board members of the N.E.W. (Nontraditional Employment for Women) Workshop Fort Wayne and serves as a board intern for LEARN Resource Center. Additionally, she is a 2019 Leadership Fort Wayne graduate. Her personal investment in community improvement has no doubt contributed to the vitality of Fort Wayne.
