MKM architecture + design (MKM) announces the promotion of Associates Tafadzwa Bwititi and Jonah Garoutte to Senior Associate roles, recognizing their contributions to the firm and their longstanding commitment to creating meaningful, healthy places in the communities MKM serves.

Bwititi and Garoutte will continue to contribute to MKM’s work across the care continuum while expanding their leadership roles within project teams. The promotions reflect MKM’s continued investment in building a team of experts who design right-sized solutions for our valued partners.

“Last year, we spent the better part of the year exploring the individual strengths of each team member, and what it takes to empower each other to perform at our highest potential. To see Taf and Jonah advance as leaders within our team is one of those incredible outcomes of maintaining a culture that is open to growth and learning,” Zach Benedict, AIA, LEED AP, President, MKM, said.

Bwititi recently celebrated nine years at MKM, where he has been a leading force in developing design concepts, 3D models and renderings, field verifications, and construction drawings. His architectural interests stem from a desire to understand how communities interact with natural and built environments. Garoutte joined the firm in 2023, bringing more than 20 years of experience leading a wide variety of project types within MKM’s core markets. He also has extensive knowledge of construction drawings and technologies. Both Bwititi and Garoutte are alumni of Ball State University.
