If we intend to provide a prosperous future for younger generations, we need to start taking our collective health more seriously.
MKM architecture + design (MKM) is currently expanding the Memory Care unit, otherwise known as the Tulip Wing, at Lutheran Life Villages on Anthony Boulevard in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Proposed renovations will increase the size of the living and dining areas by relocating three bedrooms to a different wing of the facility, as well as removing the current nurses’ station walls. The facility has remained operational during the expansion and residents have been relocated from the project area during construction. Other updates to be made include the expansion of public restrooms to meet ADA requirements, new showers within the Memory Care and Rehab Wing Spas, and new interior finishes throughout. This project is expected to be completed this summer.
