Zach Benedict to co-present with Fonda Owens at Indiana Library Federation Conference
MKM principal, Zach Benedict, to co-present with Fonda Owens, Director of La Porte County Public Library, at the Indiana Library Federation Conference.
Fonda Owens, Director of La Porte County Public Library, and Zach Benedict, an MKM principal, will be speaking at the Indiana Library Federation Conference in Indianapolis on November 14th at 11:30a. Their session, entitled “Lessons Learned: A Case Study for Building or Renovating a Public Library,” will examine the best practices and lessons learned when designing, constructing, and operating a large-scale library project.
It will also explain strategies to effectively engage stakeholders during the planning and design process, as well as express the challenges of financing and construction. MKM recently completed the design and construction of a $12 million project for LaPorte County Public Library that included all seven locations within the system.
