Long-Term Care

As resident expectations and care models begin to shift within the senior care market, specific consideration needs to be given to the environments in which people are choosing to age-in-place.  The neighborhoods and campuses residents choose dramatically impact the quality of life they will experience. More importantly, the way senior care environments are organized and designed can have a direct impact on increased social interaction for older adults. Our team is leading national discussions and developing operational innovations within the long-term care industry – ideas that prioritize resident engagement and dignity as a critical design principal.

"MKM truly understands the concept of community engagement, and how if you elevate the quality of life for older adults in a community, you elevate it for the entire community. They get that services don't need to be place dependent."
